About this Seminar

This high-energy seminar will help participants create a tool bag of techniques to motivate employees and managers. We will cover self-care, positive psychology, resiliency, laughter and more! This workshop discusses how motivation and recognition leads to increased productivity. Nonmaterialistic ways to make your employees feel special and valued will also be shared.

About Cyril McLaughlin

BA, BED, BSW, MSW

Cyril has over 20 years work experience working with individuals and organizations in different roles ranging from disability management services to the provision of counselling services. He holds a Master of Social Work degree as well as Bachelor degrees in Arts, Education and Social Work.  He is an EMDRIA Certified Therapist, EMDRIA Consultant in Training and currently working on becoming a Somatic Experiencing Practitioner. He has worked as an employment counselor, disability management consultant, disability management consultant team leader, and mental health and addictions counselor. He has provided counselling services in a hospital setting, public health community setting and also worked for more than a decade in disability management with Sun Life as a disability consultant and team leader. Cyril started a part time private practice in 2011. He recently retired as a civilian clinical social worker from the Department of National Defense (DND) following a 13-year career in Gander NL where he provided mental health counseling to Canada’s soldiers at 9 Wing Gander. Following his departure from DND, he started working full time in private practice in Gander, NL in 2022 providing mental health counselling and consulting services in person and virtually.  He has been providing counseling services, workplace facilitation services and critical incident support services on behalf of LifeWorks, formerly (Shepell/fgi), since 2013.
